Repower America with the WE Campaign
I was not surprised to learn that ABC refused to run the Alliance for Climate Protection’s Repower America ad, following the most recent presidential debate. ABC chose to run Chevron ads. NBC ran Exxon and CNN had the coal lobby. Clean, renewable energy was nowhere in sight. Exactly the way the big oil companies like it.
Want to make a difference? Let ABC know that you don’t agree with their decision by signing the petition today. Tell them to run Repower America. The goal is to have 100,000 public comments sent to ABC before the next airing of 20/20, this Friday.

This makes me so angry! When is someone going to shut down the influence of Big Oil? I have lost even more respect for the major networks.

I agree, Christine. It just proves that the major news networks are controlled by the highest paying advertisers. Imagine the news stories that are not making it to the American public…

Just a quick update: as of Friday morning ABC is still refusing to run the ad tonight. They received over 100,000 petition emails.

Don’t get mad, get busy! Get busy sending the link to this video to everyone you know. It’s the 21st century and we don’t need mass media to influence us anymore. We need to influence each other. Power up!
