Air pollution ! #2

Air pollution.

Forget about Oscar. Who needs all that Hollywood hoopla anyway? The Climate Activist’s Choice Awards lets us choose our favorite short video of the year. There’s no red carpet, no paparazzi and no fur wearing celebrities to aggravate you!

The Environmental Defense Action Fund asked filmmakers to create 30 second shorts explaining how carbon caps can combat global warming and reduce America’s addiction to oil. They’ve narrowed down the entries to five finalists.

The winner will receive $1,000 and their video will be used in a TV ad encouraging  Congress to pass a national cap on global warming pollution.

I liked all of the finalists, but this one is getting my vote:

Goldfish, by John Hill

Check out the rest of the entries and be sure to  cast a vote for your favorite. Voting for the Climate Activist’s Choice Awards ends February 2, 2009.

Let me know what you pick!
