What a Difference 4 Days Makes!

Here in the U.S., its almost Thanksgiving.  Winter is right around the corner (or maybe camped outside your door), depending on where you live.  Its hard to believe that only 4 days ago, I was in Fiji, researching and writing articles for Tourism Fiji.

Last weekend, I arrived back in my home state of Oregon where it is a balmy 25 degrees F right now.  Its been snowing continuously for the past 24 hours.  Yet, in Fiji, summer is just starting.  The rainy season is upon the islands and lush green vegetation is thriving!

As I spent the day inside, going through my Fiji photographs, I had to laugh at the juxtaposition of where I was only a few days prior to the scene outside my living room window.
