Benefiting communities in all 50 states, a record breaking 48,000+ xeriscapes, green spaces and gardens have been created.

The campaign to create gardens and green spaces included partnerships between businesses and governments on the local and national levels.

The Scotts Miracle-Gro Company is one such partner and has participated in the Keep America Beautiful campaign for the past 3 years by providing 47 grants to aid in the creation and long term maintenance of community based green spaces and gardens.

“Every one of these public spaces could be providing a quiet place to reflect on nature, food for the community, a gateway for the neighborhood, an activity space for kids, or even an offset to a community’s carbon footprint. We are incredibly thankful to all the volunteers and partners who made this possible.” Matthew M. McKenna, President and CEO of Keep America Beautiful, Inc.
