Who is Alice, you ask? Well, Alice.com is a fabulous website I just stumbled across the other day that is turning out to be my fairy godmother, full time housekeeper, personal shopper, and green enviro-buddy all wrapped up in one.
Alice , in true internet fashion, cuts out the middle man and sells everything from earth friendly cleaning products to recycled toilet paper and organic babyfood online. It’s a cool concept that really saves you time, money and saves the planet too.
Here’s how it works.
You open up a free account and then select the products you want. Alice automatically applies any manufacturer’s coupons available, assembles your order and ships it right to your door for free (that’s FREE shipping) thus obviating the need for you to get in your car, use gas and your precious time to go to your local supermarket or big box store and lug your purchases home in plastic bags that will only clog landfills and end up killing wildlife in the Pacific Gyre when you are through with them.
Oh, and did I mention that Alice will also keep track of what and how much you purchase, help you budget and send you a reminder
when you need to buy more? Isn’t Alice terrific?
I don’t know about you, but I often mean to buy earth friendly cleaning products and recycled paper goods and end up not doing it because I’m just too lazy or I can’t find them in whatever store I am in.
Well, Alice makes that easy too.
There is an entire section of the Alice website of organic/green products…. click click and you are done with no environmental guilt. On top of it all, it seems there is a social aspect to Alice and an Alice community. There is live chat, a blog, a help desk and a phone number prominently displayed (always a good sign, I think)
In any case, I think Alice.com deserves big Peachygreen kudos for being such a great, earth friendly, money and time saving site. It’s the small things in life that bring the greatest joy and personally, I am over the moon at the notion that I will never have to run out of toilet paper or garbage bags again and I am loving going green with Alice. I really am.

Hi Benson and thanks for the comment. Glad you liked the post but have to admit that I, not Steph wrote it– that said, she does do most of the heavy lifting around here and her posts are wonderful:-)
