Peachy Praise for Mighty Mixx

Just following their very first birthday, the social media site Mixx has another great achievement to celebrate. They have broken into the top 1000 list on Alexa and are currently rated 990. In case you aren’t familiar with Alexa - being in the top 1000 websites is big news and definitely calls for some serious celebrating!

Mixx Celebrates 1st Birthday with Style!

Kudos to Mixx! As a mom, I have to advise you not to go too crazy with the cake and partying… you’re still a growing baby!

The peaches here at Peachy Green have been active in the Mixx community for at least six months now and life at Mixx keeps getting better. You will easily find a group or community that caters to your interests (including green, of course) and friendly users are all around. We are so happy to be a part of this thriving and quickly expanding social media website.

I love the Mixx Mission, because they seek to solve a problem that all internet users are more than a little familiar with. Mixx helps people find the content they want most.

Did I mention it’s fun? Well, it’s fun!

The Mixx Mission
Mixx has a very simple mission: Connect users and publishers in relevant human circles.

The Internet has been a great leap forward in information sharing. In fact, one of the best things about the Internet is that it has destroyed the barriers to entry for publishing: you don’t need to own a printing press, a television station or other distribution system. In short, it has allowed everyone and his mother to publish. While this is totally cool, it has also lead to an absolute proliferation of information, so finding the content that’s relevant to you can be a serious pain in the @#$%. And for both large and small publishers it’s equally difficult to find your audience.

But Mixx is solving this problem, and making sure that our end users and publishers are having fun in the process.
