Choose from among several kits – Christmas beans, Fortune telling beans, Aquatic creatures, Zoo animals, Dinosaurs – even wedding or baby shower favors.  The grow-at-home bean kits include colored bean seeds (there are 25 colors available, and the company uses water-based dyes), eco-friendly coir pots, and peat pellets.  The entire kit is 100% organic and biodegradable.

Plant the bean seeds, water, and then place the pots in a sunny window location.  Now the fun really begins!  Not only will the tiny plant grow in a matter of days, but the bean sprout pods “magically” include a word, phrase or picture, like “Happy Birthday,” or “Congratulations.”  If you wish, the grown bean pods are edible!

My kids want the fortune telling Magic Bean Wishes.  Plant the seeds, and make a wish.  The first pod to appear will have your answer: yes, no, maybe, doubtful, sure thing or perhaps.  Forget the Magic 8 Ball – This is some homegrown fun!

Magic Bean Wishes also have classroom kits for teaching elementary or middle school students.  A lesson plan, along with 90 bean seeds and 30 pots and peat pellets are all packaged together.
