Peachy Green is excited to announce a Disneynature Earth Day Giveaway contest in conjunction with Walt Disney Studios! You could be the lucky winner of a copy of Disneynature’s Earth on DVD and the companion book for Oceans, published by Participant Media.

From now until midnight (Pacific Daylight Time) on Earth Day, April 22, 2010,  enter this contest simply by submitting a comment to this post, telling us how you’ll be celebrating Earth Day.*

We are celebrating the Earth Day release of Disneynature’s new movie, Oceans, as the studio’s exciting follow-up to its record-breaking film, Earth.  The exciting, inspiring nature film, Oceans cruises to the big screen on April 22, 2010.

Directed by Jacques Perrin and Jacques Cluzaud, Oceans explores the mysteries beneath the depths of the waters that cover nearly three-quarters of the planet. Dive down with cameras and take a closer look at the amazing creatures, and harsh realities of life below the surface.  The film is narrated by Pierce Brosnan, and features spectacular, never-before-seen imagery captured by the latest underwater technologies.

You won’t want to miss this powerful motion picture, which is acceptable for audiences of all ages (Rated G by the MPAA).

Perhaps as exciting is the See Oceans, Save Oceans campaign during the film’s opening week (April 22-28, 2010).

For every movie ticket purchased during its first week of Ocean‘s release, Disneynature, through the Disney Worldwide Conservation Fund, will make a donation in your name to help establish new marine protected areas in The Bahamas with The Nature Conservancy, one of the largest conservation organizations in the world.  These areas will contain miles of vital coral reefs that provide natural habitat, nurseries and feeding grounds for hundreds of marine species.
